Black Country, New Road returns to the capital!

Another good news about the concert. The pride of British music "Black Country, New Road" returns to the capital.

Fortunately for everyone, the wait won't be long. April 18 the group "Black Country, New Road" will be heard in Vilnius, in the iconic "Kabli" with good sound. It is confirmed that they will return to the capital in the spring. Six young, ambitious and very talented musicians. From South London. For that, you should thank the music agency "8 Days A Week", which introduced them to the Lithuanian audience a few years ago. For some of us, Black Country, New Road will still be a real find today.

Few bands today reinvent their sound as consistently as Black Country, New Road. The members of the group are the true Gen Z with many achievements and surprising maturity.

Black Country, New Road is sometimes said to make "nerd music". But they are not ashamed of this title. Pitchfork calls them "the multi-headed beast of music" and NME calls them Britain's new most prestigious band.

Don't oversleep!

The composition of the group changed, and inevitably the music changed, but at any stage they were accompanied by fame and attention. Their ability to respond to changing circumstances in the group is determined by close friendship, talent and refined mutual connection. After vocalist Issac Wood left the group, the band members did not give up and today it is their voices that are heard on the recordings. They took parting with the group leaders as an opportunity. Black Country's latest album, New Road, is definitely not a breakup album. And another amazing record that graced many Best Album of the Year lists.

"Black Country, New Road" music catalog - very interesting and worth your listening. We would like as many people as possible to discover them. Young British music talent is changing the face of contemporary music here and now. Black Country, New Road's debut album "For the First Time", which interweaves jazz and post-rock, was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize. Ants From Up There's second release was awarded 8.4/10 and Best New Music by Pitchfork. Many music critics declared it one of the Best Albums of the Year.

With the departure of frontman Isaac Wood and the band's Live at Bush Hall album, even The Guardian didn't budge: "A magical revival" and even 5 out of 5 stars.

Black Country, New Road now operates as a new entity. It is a group of fellowship, not a single leader. Today, behind them stands the influential publishing house "Ninja Tune", which also patronizes such names as Peggy Gou, Kamashi Washington, Bonobo, Floating Points, "Young Fathers" and many others.

Black Country, New Road today consists of: Tyler Hyde (bass, vocals), Lewis Evans (sax, flute, vocals), Georgia Ellery (cello, vocals), May Kershaw (keyboards, vocals), Charlie Wayne (drums) and Luke Mark (guitar, vocals).

Yes, even six musicians and all of them are excellent multi-instrumentalists!

A new phase - the album "Forever Howlong"

Eleven-piece Black Country, New Road's latest effort, Forever Howlong, is nothing like what came before it. Folk, baroque pop and even alternative rock can be heard in the album. "The songs were born like dominoes: one idea caught another, and the structures passed from song to song," the band members say.

"After several years of lineup and repertoire changes, the band returns with an ambitious, if somewhat sweet, album steeped in baroque flourishes and community spirit," writes Pitchfork. "The genre-bending album Forever Howlong demonstrates Black Country, New Road's incredible evolutionary leap, telepathic musical interplay and collective creative power," says Under The Radar.

In the album "Forever Howlong" the vocal axis consists of three members of the group. According to Georgia Ellery, this gave the record a clear direction and integrity, with even the voices of the three singing girls becoming its centerpiece.

Forever Howlong was produced by James Ford himself, who has worked with such names as: Fontaines D.C., Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Blur and many others. "Forever Howlong" is a big and bold work in which we put a lot of creative solutions. We looked at every possible option when creating this album, which opened up new possibilities," says producer James Ford.

Forever Howlong shows once again that Black Country, New Road is not afraid to jump into the unknown, is constantly looking for new ideas, sounds unique, and their records are not repetitive. The album is full of genres, but the sound is extremely cohesive. Highly recommended! Worth a listen from start to finish.

We are waiting for an exclusive and high-quality music event with one of the most interesting music groups from the United Kingdom. With Black Country, New Road performing live, any member can be in the spotlight. Their quality, which they constantly generate in the recording studio, and bold ideas translate live.
