Asta Krikščiūnaitė is one of the brightest Lithuanian soloists, capable of creating a celebration for herself and the audience on stage. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of her professional activity, she invites her to make sense of it together with a group of her current and former talented students. The program of this festive concert includes a stack of the most beautiful opera numbers (in addition to arias and duets, we will even hear a quintet and a sextet!) and a bit of 20th century music. music.
Asta Krikščiūnaitė graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, doc. Aldona Vilčinskaitė's solo singing class. She started her career in Klaipėda's musical theater, but her interpretations immediately attracted the attention of listeners, critics and various competition commissions.
Opera, oratorio, cantata or song genres are important in A. Krikščiūnaitė's repertoire - she sings solo parts in various large-scale works, created many memorable roles in Lithuanian musical theaters. A. Krikščiūnaitė performs with various symphony and chamber orchestras in Lithuania and abroad, is gladly invited to various festivals and to perform new works by Lithuanian composers, initiates the performance and recordings of historical Lithuanian music herself, is a beloved pedagogue who has trained several generations of famous vocalists.
