The Concert of the World Piano Stars congratulates M.K. Ciurlionis
Lucas Debargue (France)
Alexei Volodin (Spain)
Since 2020, the Tytuvėnai Festival, the Lithuanian National Philharmonic and M. K. Čiurlionis' home in Vilnius hosts concerts of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis (1875-1911). This creates a tradition to mention a unique Lithuanian artist listening to famous Lithuanian and foreign pianists. Foreign performers, by involving Čiurlionis' works in their repertoire, make our country culture and, of course, a great creator. Such work was published in September 2025 by meeting M.K. Ciurlionis' 150 birth anniversary to invite lovers to one of the largest piano music festivals in the Baltic States. At every evening of the festival, M.K. Ciurlionis will be greeted by different, two world world stars. For the first time, Čiurlionis' birthday concerts come to the LVSO Hall, with two world music celebrities Alexei Volodin (Spain) and a first -time superstar Lucas Debargue (France) coming to Lithuania, will invite M.K.Ciurlionis, E.Grieg, M.Ravel, F.Liszt and C.Frank music. Alexei Volodin - A pianist already familiar to the Lithuanian audience, who studied with the legendary piano educator Elis Virladze, who identified his disciple as one of the most famous young generation pianists. His solo concerts have been played in recent years in the Royal Festival Hall and Wigmore Hall in London, Vienna Konzerthaus, Paris Philharmonic, Madrid's Auditoria National de Musica, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Carnegie Hall in New York. With the world's most famous orchestras, Volodin has performed on all continents. He has performed one of several pianists in the world in one evening for all five of Procofiev's concerts for piano and orchestra, as well as all Van Beethoven's piano concerts in one evening. Unlike many famous musicians, Volodin, sitting on the instrument, knows how to find the middle of the golden between meaning and emotion, sensitive touch and flawless technique. The pianist's repertoire stretches from Bach to Shchedrine.
