Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, led by artistic director and chief. For the second year in a row, the conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius has been invited to meet the solo concerts of the most famous Lithuanian artists in the summer. After last year, the scene of Edgar Montvidas Rekitaly, who has been huge, has been given this year's LVSO concert hall to one of the most famous Lithuanian pianists Lukas Geniušas. L. Geniušas is firmly established as one of the most interesting and brightest pianists of his generation. Praised for his talent and maturity (The Guardian), he is constantly invited to perform recitals in prestigious world concert halls such as London Wigmore Hall, Concertgebouw, Amstedarm, Paris Salle Gaveau, Louvre Auditorium, New York Frick Collection Collection, Genoa Theater Carlo Felice, Milan's "Island Verdi" and others. Because of its curiosity and extensive musical interests, L. Geniušas has a wide range of music performed, from Baroque to contemporary music. His musical repertoire extends from the works of Mr Van Beethoven's concerts to P. Hindemith's Ludus Tonalis and J. Adams. The pianist is a passionate fan of chamber music and an extremely curious performer who is happy to perform works of contemporary composers or take on a rare repertoire of concert halls. L. Geniuš's discography, which has won the best critics' ratings, includes the works of L. Van Beethoven, J. Brahms, S. Rachmaninov, F. Chopin, as well as chamber music records. His first record of S. Prokofiev's piano sonatas in 2019, released by Mirare. He was awarded the Choc de Classica and the Rangeason magazine Recitals of the Year awards. 2022 Together with opera soloist Asmik Grigorian, the pianist has won the prestigious Gramophone Classical Music Award for their joint work - Sergei Rachmaninov's romance album Dissonance. Born in 1990 In Moscow, in the family of famous musicians, L. Geniušas started his musical path at the F. Chopin College of Music in Moscow, who completed the highest ratings in 2008. He followed the studies at the Moscow Conservatoire, his grandmother, the prominent piano professor Vera Gornostayeva. L. Geniušas became the winner of several prestigious international competitions, including the Tchaikovsky competition in Moscow in 2015. (II place) and the International F. Chopin Competition 2010 (II place). Since 2015 Lukas Geniušas is a participant of the Filantropic project "Looking at the Stars" in Toronto.
