On New Year's Eve, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra and maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius present a unique, theatrical work of Turkish British composer Tolga Kashif (b. 1962), The Queen Symphony, which combines the legendary Queen's work and symphonic music. "I wanted to reveal the primordial essence of this great music. I wanted to create something more than a simple orchestral, and I discovered that an integral part of Queen music is the language of the contemporary classic genre," says Kashif. “I am convinced that this piece, like other things related to Queen, can also cause a negative reaction. It breaks most of the rules of the symphony form. But I am also convinced that this symphony will become an immortal orchestra repertoire, as it will always gather full concert halls, ”says May.

Members of the group did not participate in the process of creating T. Kashif's symphony, leaving the composer complete freedom of creativity. Although the most famous bands of the symphony are used for the musical tissue, some of them will be difficult to recognize even the biggest fans of Queen music.
