This fall, Arvo Pärt, the Estonian composer, is 90 years old to the Estonian composer. On this occasion in Vilnius on November 5th. An exclusive concert of this famous creator is being held, featuring the winner of Grammy, one of the best choirs in the world, the Latvian Radio Choir. The concert will be held in the new LVSO Concert Hall, where the Lithuanian audience will be able to hear the monumental Arvo Pärt's masterpiece "Kanon Pokayanen". One of the most famous composers of the present, Arvo Pärt, is in the ranks of the greatest recognition and the enormous world -popular creators of today's popularity near Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Krzysztof Pendereckis, John Adams, Max Richter and others. The Estonian composer, celebrating this year's honorable anniversary, has earned recognition for his unique musical style "tintinnabuli" (Latin "bells"), which has been famous for his world for almost half a century. In his youth, after completing the Tallinn State Conservatoire, Pärt wrote a series of works where one of the first in Estonia used modern composition style: neoclassicism, dodecaphony, serialism, sonorism, aleatoric and collage. Although the works received a high rating, none of these styles were interested in Pärt for a long time. However, in these compositions, what remained remained in the later way of creating a minimalist Tintinnabuli style: powerful, influential dramaturgy, concentrated musical and developed form. Until 1976 Mr Pärt has long been looking for his new creative path to better reflect his worldview. The composer turned to ancient music and immersed himself in the study of Gregorian chant, Notre Dame School and Renaissance Polyphony. The result of these intense creative searches is the style of Tintinnabul, which Pärt is successful to this day. For the first time, this style appeared in a short play for piano Für Alina (1976), and soon in Cantus in Memory of Benjamin Britten (1977), Fratres (1977), Tabula Rasa (1977) and Spiegel in Spiegel (1978). In the compositions written in Tintinnabuli style, the musical material is highly concentrated and expresses the special relationship of the composer to silence. Tininnabuli is also a kind of ideology: this music deeply feels a composer's attitude to life based on Christian values, religious practice and the search for truth, beauty and purity. Pärt received global glory in 1984, when ECM Records published a record of the work "Tabula Rasa". Soon the composer's music was widely spread to many of the most famous festivals, orchestras and ensemble programs, as well as television and radio shows. The works are commissioned by A. Pärt by the highest caliber institutions - eg 2015. The Los Angeles Philharmonic commissioned him Opusa Greater Antiphons, which was performed by the La Phil orchestra conducted by the famous Gustav Dudamel. The monumental work of A. Pärt, Kanon Pokaynen, will be performed at this concert. A Grammy winner, one of the best choirs in the world - Latvian Radio Choir, will perform about an hour and a half. 1940 The team of professionals today is famous for its special versatility and "Nordic sound", the choir has accumulated a wide repertoire from old music to contemporary opuses and is like a creative laboratory for composers, stimulating the extension of classic vocal performance.
