The musicians of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra (artistic director and chief conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius) invite you to an exceptional chamber music concert, which will combine the works of composers from different eras, original instrumental combinations and lively, authentic musical dialogue. This concert is not only an opportunity to get to know the artists of the orchestra, but also to enjoy the sound of different, unexpected musical ensembles. Listeners will be able to hear a diverse palette of works, in which each opus is a unique musical story, revealing the mastery of both authors and performers.

The program will include a whole constellation of musical eras. From the baroque genius Georg Friedrich Händel (1685-1759), classicist Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827) and romantic Giovanni Bottesini (1821-1889), to the 20th century. the modernists Carl Nielsen (1865-1931), Benjamin Britten (1913-1976) and the famous creator of the new tango wave, Ástor Piazzolla (1921-1992). Listeners will also be able to hear works by contemporary authors, including Mark Ford, Wolfgang Sonntag and Remigijus Gumuliauskas. Timeless classics, sensual musical passages and temperamental emotions meet here. Particular attention is paid to non-traditional combinations of instruments - violins, violas, cellos, double basses, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpets, French horns, trombones, tuba and percussion will play in various compositions at the concert.

Chamber music invites listeners to a different experience - a closer relationship between musician and listener, more freedom and individuality, live communication between performers through music. This concert is a gift from the musicians of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra to the audience, allowing them to immerse themselves in the delicate and colorful world of chamber music.
