A special place in the program is occupied by Fryderyk Chopin's Ballade No. 4 is one of the most mature and profound works, in which a subtle calm gradually moves to a dramatic climax. The spirit of the 20th century is revealed in Olivier Messiaen's Première communion de la Vierge, a mystical opus full of light, faith and a sense of frozen time.
At the end of the concert - Maurice Ravel's "Gaspard de la nuit" suite, considered one of the most complex and impressive piano compositions. In three parts - Ondine, Le Gibet and Scarbo - dark and hypnotic images of the night unfold, demanding great skill and imagination from the performer.

About the artist:

Julija Sadaunykaitė is a pianist who has performed with solo and chamber music programs in Lithuania, Europe, USA and China, performed in prestigious halls, including Tivoli Concert Hall in Copenhagen, Boessendorfer Salon in Vienna and Smetana Hall in Prague. Julia collaborated with famous artists and participated in master classes with Stephen Kovacevich, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Lilya Zilberstein and others. She also played with international chamber music ensembles and was a jury member of competitions for young pianists, including Dynasty (Ukraine) and Premio Scarlatti (Vilnius).
