This evening is the invitation of the pianist Simon Miknius, who has already won the musical journey, which covers the broad period, from the depths of classicism to the 20th century. the search and discoveries of modernism.
The first part of the concert will feature exceptional L. Beethoven's sonata with a particularly memorable third part - the silent dignity of the mourning marshal. You will later hear one of the most famous S. Prokofiev's sonatas with dramatic, threatening energy and technical complexity. The second part of the concert will feature works by F. Shubert and F. Liszt, from intimate lyrics to a theatrical, folklore -inspired carnival spree.
This program is composed as a kind of musical mural - it holds the elegance of classicism, the longing of romanticism, the roots of national identity and the paradoxes of the modern musical palette. It is a recital not only for listening but also for imagination, thinking and heart.

Simonas Miknius is active in Lithuania and abroad and has appeared in many European countries. His classical music is characterized by maturity and exceptional musicality. The pianist's repertoire is wide, covering music from Baroque to today. One of his closest composers is F. Chopin, F. List, J. F. Rameau, L. Van Betoven and others.
