Music Magic Club - a special evening with saxophonist Kestutis Vaiginis and pianist Joon Haavist from Finland!
Musicians playing together for over 15 years have been well known on the international jazz scene. Kęstutis Vaiginis played at the most famous festivals - North Sea Jazz, Tokyo Jazz, Jarasum Jazz, as well as in the legendary New York Blue Note Jazz Club. His list of coworkers includes jazz legends like David Kikaki, Mike Stern, Alex Sipiagin. Joon Haavist, recognized by Steinway Artist, has been performing with his trio worldwide - from Helsinki to Tokyo, from Europe to New York scenes.
2024 The duo presented her debut album Moon Bridge, released at the prestigious Japanese publishing house Eight Islands. The album has already received great reviews: "Wonderful, full of great compositions and flawless music" (Jazzwise, UK), Japanese magazine Jaz.in called "Wayne Shorter's heirs".

Kęstutis Vaiginis is one of the most prominent Lithuanian jazz saxophonists and composers, who performed in the most famous festivals and scenes in the world - from North Sea Jazz and Tokyo Jazz to the legendary New York Blue Note. His work combines modern jazz, academic music elements, Latin and Afric rhythms. For international achievements, he won the prestigious Europamusicale Music Prize and the Grand Prix of the Birštonas Jazz Festival, while cooperating with jazz legends such as Mike Stern, Alex Sipiagin or David Kikikki.
Joon Haavist is one of the most prominent jazz pianists in the Nordic countries who has performed in scenes like Blue Note New York, Tokyo Jazz Festival, Pori Jazz or Jazzahead! and released five albums with their trio, including critics, offshore (2019). His work combines clear, memorable melodies, unexpected rhythmic motifs and subtle harmony, and the pianist is famous for its crystal transparency and musical versatility. Haavist has made music for films, collaborated with famous world jazz musicians, including Jerry Bergonzi, Jonathan Blake, Boris Kozlov, Tivon Pennicott and others.
