What can connect all this on stage? Dance, music and colors. This dance performance is a kind of children's journey through life getting to know colors. Children start the journey completely white. But they get involved in creative play and gradually discovers the enchanting world of colors. "Color" was created by Giedrė Zaščižinskaitė - a teacher and stage practice specialist at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts. She is the choreographer, scenographer and costume designer of this performance. Choreographer's assistant Donatas Bakėjus. "Children can associate colors with specific animals or objects, but they can also create certain associations with colors through dance and music. This is what psychologists claim, and I found it interesting to present this on stage," G. Zaščižinskaitė described the idea. The show "Colors" is intended for children from 3 years of age and, of course, for parents who care about the education of their children's worldview. Among other things, "Colors" should interest educators working with children, who will be able to apply certain methods in direct work with children. During the performance, the music of V. A. Mozart, J. S. Bach, A. Khačiaturian, F. Šopen and A. Vivaldis is played. The performance includes classes 1-12. Students of the ballet department. The performance lasts 35 minutes, but an "extension" is planned: after the performance, the young audience will be able to get on stage and see and touch everything up close.
