Aistė Smilgevičiūtė: The stumps appeared in our lives exactly 10 years ago. It's like a little miracle. The first show took place in the mysterious karmazin mound and over ten years the mythological drama was shown not only in concert halls, but also near the barns, historically significant places.

Rokas Radzevičius: And it all started with the song "No place to put on a sniff" 10 years ago. As is often the case, the melody has not survived to this day, so I have been intrigued by the text, I made music. And the theme of the afterlife itself included me, so I started writing songs one by one.

This folk creation inspired Aistė and Rock to look more aware of the imagination of ancient Lithuanian afterlife.

Rokas Radzevičius: The song tells how the human soul (stump) is forced to wander, live in reeds and trees after death. Only when it enters the church, where the relative is waiting, is it escorted to the afterlife, finding peace and place there. This song is a testimony of the period of the intersection of paganism and Christianity, when the old imagination of the other world was still alive, but the new elements also fell into the consciousness of the people.
