Music that opens the door to the world of feelings - this is how the program of the "History" concert can be described.

Short pieces from the composer Max Richter and Sven Helbig's repertoire will create a unique, cozy and romantic atmosphere and momentarily take you to different places - as if in a movie. During the evening, the performers will sensitively combine the individual parts of the performance into a single, deep musical inspiration that will remain in the memory for a long time.

Composer Max Richter's post-minimalist, modern classical genre music is widely used in movies and TV series. In 2019, Mr. Richter's work surpassed one billion online streams and one million album sales. At the "Istorijos" concert, V. Šakūras and the "Mettis" quartet will perform works from the "Infra" album - at the beginning of the year, they also performed at the presentation of the autumn/winter men's collection of the fashion house "Dior" in Paris.

Concert participants are also waiting stories from German composer Sven Helbig's album "Pocket symphonies" is a sequential cycle of 12 compositions, in which each story conveys a different image and feeling. "Sherkšnas", "Lullaby", "Tear", "Autumn Song" or "City Perfume" will become unexpected musical journeys through the world of imagination.

ABOUT VYTIS SHAKURAS

Vytis Šakūras is an internationally recognized pianist who has won many competition awards and appeared on the stages of prestigious festivals. The musician's active concert program is played in the biggest cities of Europe and Japan, and during the year V. Šakūras organizes more than 100 solo and joint performances with world-renowned artists.

Vytis Šakūras' activities include constant cooperation with recognized singers, violinists, and the pianist pays particular attention to chamber music.

Since 2023, V. Šakūras has been collaborating with the world-famous clarinetist Giora Feidman, recently "Warner Chappell Music" and "MACC Records" released their joint album "Revolution of Love", performed in the Berlin Philharmonic, Hamburg's "Laeiszhalle", Stuttgart's "Liederhalle" and other famous concert halls.
