Metosoprano Aurelija Stasiulytė, along with pianist Evelina Pilipavičiūtė, presents a concert program featuring the vocal cycles of the composer - Lithuanian Jurgis Karnavičius, Anglo Edward Eldar Eldar and M. K. Čiurlionis Solo for piano.
The musical school and experience of the two nations inspired the artists to prepare a program that would introduce listeners of different nations to the work of the composers of these two countries. The desire to implement this project was strengthened by the idea of the composer J. Karnavičius' early creative period to organize vocal cycles - west. At that time, the musical evenings were popular events that featured several composition cycles or separate works. The combination of the composer's work to the cycles - the West had not only artistic but also cultural significance - it contributed to the development of Lithuanian professional music and strengthened Lithuania's cultural identity.
Evelina Pilipavičiūtė is a universal artist, pianist, concertmaster, singer, lecturer at VMU Music Academy, winner of international competitions, performing in Lithuania and the world with the most famous opera singers.
She has graduated with the most famous lecturers in the country: she received the piano's Bachelor's degree in VMU Academy of Music with Prof. Rūta Richetere, Master - Pas Assoc. Donald Račis, a bachelor's degree in singing was obtained by prof. Vladimir Prudnikov.
