Čiurlioniada: fortepijono muzikos vakaras | Jinhyung Park ir Simonas Poška

Two of the most promising pianists of the younger generation - the winners of the 9th International M.K. Čiurlionis Piano Competition: Jinhyung Park (South Korea) and the winner of the second prize Simonas Poška (Lithuania) - will meet on the Vilnius Town Hall Stage. This piano music evening is one of the celebrations to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis. The program will feature various piano opuses of Čiurlionis, reflecting his unique musical world. The concert will also be enriched by the works of other prominent composers such as Ferenc Liszt, Olivier Messiaen, Fryderyk Chopin. In Lithuania, the world also celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of Maurice Ravel, which is the subtle piano landscapes of Maurice Ravel in Lithuania, commemorating Čiurlionis' anniversary.

This event is part of the concert cycle "Ciurlioniada. Piano and Organ Music Evenings" program. The Center for International Cultural Projects invited the winners of the international M. K. Čiurlionis organists and pianists to the Lithuanian capital on this special occasion to the Lithuanian capital, members of the commission and invited guests. In addition to the organizer's own organ and piano, new, inspired works inspired by Čiurlionis' creative work, developed by fragments of his works or the topics, improvisations, newly prepared and long -created arrangements and contemporaries.
