Night music in the heart of Vilnius: Gediminas Gelgotas. On August 19, at 10 pm, when the summer night will land on the roofs of the city, the piano sounds will be performed in the space of the Vilnius Town Hall. At a night concert at Vilnius Town Hall, composer Gediminas Gelgotas will perform pearls of modern classics - purified, meditative American minimalist Philip Glass Etudus for piano, which are like musical labyrinths of mantras: simple at first glance, in geometry. The artist will also call his own work - fragments of the new cycle of "Remunciations", the subtle sounds full of contemporary minimalism and post -minimalism, in which the language of silence pauses is as suggestive as the sounds of music themselves. Gediminas Gelgotas is a well -known composer and conductor, founder of the Vilnius City Ensemble Nick, an artist whose music is alive, filled with modernity, at the same time, inseparable from the spiritual depth. The night concert of this artist will invite you to stop, listen, and feel the sound as we hear only when the world is silent.
