Juozas Grušas House-Museum (division of the Maironis Lithuanian Literature Museum) was established in Kaunas Žaliakalnis, where Kaunas playwright, prose writer, translator and essayist Juozas Grušas lived and created. The writer's house is a traditional homestead type, conveniently and rationally written and planted by the writer himself. The writer's home was constantly intense creative life - the gatherings of writers, artists, theaters, the most famous drama and short stories were created here, and three Gruša children grew up here. The two largest rooms in the house ran everyday life, both a workroom and a living room. Old furniture came home with the hosts: bookcase, sideboard, chest of drawers with mirrors, wardrobe, luminaires. To date, the old room interior, works of art, and the preserved part of the library have been preserved. Kaunas Drama Theater in 1972 According to the drama of Juozas Grušas "Barbora Radvilaitė" (dir. Jonas Jurašas), the performance was recognized as a performance of the century.
