We invite you to a romantic villa on the shore of Kaunas Lagoon
Salomėja Neris and Bernard Buck's House-Museum opened in 1962, and the house was built in 1937-1938. According to the project of the poet's husband's sculptor and architect Bernard kiss. It is wooden, later found, two -story, with attic and masonry annexes for a sculpture workshop. Salomea Neris is one of the most famous of the 20th century. The poetry and her husband Bernard Buč is a talented sculptor in 1937. Located in Palemon, near Kaunas. "Original, stylish and peculiar villa in the background of a dark forest. Everything is well thought out, perfectly equipped," said Kazanavičius, a house built by the newlyweds. The house was restored in the 20th century. The environment of artists' homes in the 1940s. The spacious hall has a literary exposition, where the path of life and creation of S. Neris is shown. In four rooms, not only the personalities of the kiss, but also the household furniture and items used in the inter -war Lithuanian intellectuals. The Winter Workshop exhibits B. Bučas' works and photographs. The guest room stores family furniture, the poet's memorial library. A narrow, wooden staircase leads to the poet's work room and an unusual, original bedroom on the first floor.
The educational class is located in a cozy attic of the house, which can be accessed into two large outdoor terraces. Visitors are fascinated by the views of Salomėja and Bernard Kučas Garden, the Nightingale Valley and the coast of Kaunas Lagoon, opening from four balconies of the house.
