The house-museum of Salomeja Nėris and Bernard Bučas was opened in 1962, the house was built in 1937-1938. according to the project of the poet's husband, the sculptor and architect Bernard Buch. It is wooden, later plastered, two-storey, with an attic and a brick annex for the sculpture workshop. Salomėja Nėris is one of the most famous women of the 20th century. of poets and her husband Bernardas Bučas, a talented sculptor in 1937. settled in Palemone, near Kaunas. "An original, stylish and unique villa in the background of a dark forest. Everything there is well thought out, perfectly equipped", - this is how friends Kazanavičiai described the house built by the newlyweds. The house was restored in the 20th century. The environment of artists' houses of the 1940s. A literary exposition is set up in the spacious hall, where the life and creative path of S. Nėries is shown. In the four rooms, not only the personal belongings of the Bučas, but also the furniture and objects used in the household of the interwar Lithuanian intelligentsia are collected. B. Buch's works and photographs are exhibited in the winter workshop. Family furniture, the poet's memorial library are kept in the guest room. A narrow, wooden staircase leads to the poet's study and an unusual, original bedroom on the second floor.
The educational classroom is located in the cozy attic of the house, from which you can access two large outdoor terraces. Visitors are fascinated by the views of the garden cultivated by Salomeja and Bernard Buči, the Lakštingalai valley and the shores of the Kaunas lagoon, opening from the four balconies of the house.

- All visitors on the last Sunday of every month, February 16, March 11, July 6;
- Foreigners who left Ukraine due to military actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
A discount applies to visiting museum expositions:
- Republic of Lithuania, other European Union for students of Member States and European Economic Area countries studying in general education and vocational training programs;

- permanent mandatory military service for soldiers, volunteer soldiers;
