The Children's Literature Museum is a special space where adults can return to childhood and children fall into a fairy tale without a spell stick. Those who come will get acquainted with children's literature - tales, short stories, poems. You will also see the most interesting personal belongings of children's writers. And do you imagine what character is most commonly found in fairy tales of different times? Can the museum of artist - children's literature illustrated - can be visited in Japan? What Lithuanian children's poet has earned H. K. Andersen's Honorary diploma? You will find out these and many other facts by visiting us!
The museum's expositions can attend free of charge:
- preschoolers (up to 7 years);
- orphans and children who have lost parental care;
- disabled persons and those accompanying them (one accompanying person for one disabled person);
- seniors from 80 years;
- family card holders;
- employees of the Republic of Lithuania Museums;
- members of the International Museum Council (ICOM);
- Individual teachers of the Humanities of the Republic of Lithuania and the Humanities of the Republic of Lithuania and the Humanities of the Republic of Lithuania and individual teachers of the Faculty of Humanities of Humanities;
- members of the Lithuanian Writers' Union;
- members of the Lithuanian Journalists' Union;
