Historical excursion in the palace of M. Oginskis
During the tour, you will get to know the life of Duke Mykolas Oginskis (1849-1902), the works done together with his wife Marija Skurzewska Oginskiene (1857-1945), a large and influential Oginski family. Walking through the Italian Neo-Renaissance style palace, you will admire not only the restored 19th century. architecture, but also the works of Žemaitija artists, exhibitions exhibited in the Žemaitia Museum of Fine Arts.
It is NECESSARY to purchase a museum visitor's ticket for every participant of the tour.
Exploration tour of M. Oginskis palace park
During the tour you will walk through the mixed type of the 18th-19th centuries. a park established on the site of a sacred forest - alko. As many as seven cascading ponds have been dug in it. You will hear not only the history of the park, but also legends about one of the oldest and largest Thunder Oak trees in Lithuania, the Weeping Lime tree, etc.
Selected activity lasts 1 hour.
