What is a vot? What is it made of and to whom is it given?
We will see with our own eyes one of the oldest votives preserved in Lithuania and the form used by the craftsman to make votives. We will guess why they have such different and interesting shapes, and most importantly, we will try to understand for what purpose they were given and to whom. A common votive is in the shape of a heart, so we will also talk about the symbolism of the heart.
In the practical part, we will make shiny metal votives ourselves, carve ornaments and signs in them.
Duration of education - 1.5 hours.
Education price - 6 Eur (per participant)

Tickets can be purchased at the museum box office or in the Paysera Tickets system.
The activities of the museum are financed by the Archdiocese of Vilnius and the Lithuanian Council of Culture.
