August 10 (Sunday) We would like to invite you to a new summer activity - a tour of women and their role in the history of Vilnius and Lithuania.
Although women have always consisted of half of the human population, there was no influence on them, their activities, their merits. Even today, in the history of Lithuania (Vilnius), women are missing - although they start talking, but the proportions are still the leader of men.
Therefore, this excursion is aimed at contributing to the dissemination of women's stories and their significant evaluation in history and present. Did you know:
What was the name of the first woman mentioned in the history of Lithuania? There was no one woman? In which location of Vilnius was and who owned the first vegetarian restaurant? What is the Vilnius Philharmonic related to women's rights? Which well -known woman Christmas in Lukiškės Prison boldly asked for even a sauna?
The tour of the tour is Martynas Mažvydas Library.
The tour will be hosted by a licensed guide, a Master of International Relations and Diplomacy and Linguistics, and Agnė Zakaravičiūtė, a volunteer of the organization.
