This church, built on the site of the temple of the legendary goddess of love, Milda, and today known as the "Baroque pearl" of Vilnius, is constantly on the lists of the most beautiful churches in the world. And indeed, after taking a step over the tomb of the founder of the shrine at the entrance threshold and entering, the theater frozen in white stucco vaults takes your breath away: musical angels and war demons, saints and sinners, the moon and the sun, army drums, specters of the plague, elephants, dolphins, dragons, snakes... - you won't be able to list and watch them all, while you yourself will be followed more than their 2000 pairs of eyes. Each sculpture there tells its own story - sometimes of suffering, and sometimes of love, there are so many symbols and signs that we hardly have time to decipher them.
