"The Tale of the Kings" is an epic, poetic dance performance that is sensitive and dramatically revealed by extraordinary, and the life story of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis is still too known. The main characters of the performance are not only Čiurlionis himself in three centuries of his life and not only the most important women of his life (first love Mary Moravska, patron Bronislava Volman, Sofija Kymantaitė, wife of Čiurlionis), but also Čiurlionis' being. The play will bring back a special and deep world of Čiurlionis, who has become a suffering and a gift from God in one, embodied by 25 ACH Theater Youth Troupe Artists. "In this piece, it is important for me to restore the psychological portrait of Čiurlionis -human, his relationship to his creative work, the woman of his life, his early tragic fate, when his soul has not been recognized in time, drowned in deprivation and darkness, leaves this world earlier than the body ..." The musical fabric of the "Fairy Tale" is full of gentle Lithuanian spirit. The most beautiful interpretations of Čiurlionis music are collected here, as well as the musical dedications of Lithuanian composers to Čiurlionis.
