Lithuanian ballet - 100 years! On this special occasion, "Neli Beliakaitė's Baltic Ballet Academy" invites you to a Christmas ballet performance for the whole family - Grandma's Tale.
The performance is inspired by the poem "Grandma's Tale" by S. Neris. The language of classic dance tells the story of a very expensive relationship between grandmother and granddaughter, full of concern, warmth and empathy. Following fairy tales to her granddaughter, her grandmother invites her to the fairy tale world, where she, together with the characteristics of the fairy tale, once again reminds us of eternal values: friendship, family love, perseverance and the pursuit of coherence and friendship. It is a story of the ability to see the good in the world and spread it yourself. When highlighting this value, it is urged to keep in mind that changes begin with each of us.
In 2025, another anniversary in the art world is celebrated: the 200th anniversary of Johann Strauss II. The performance will feature this particular world of global fame in the 19th century. Classical music of the composer.
Young artists and soloists will dance in the ballet performance "Neli Beliakaitė's Baltic Academy".
