"Who's here?" is a performance intended for the smallest, about self-knowledge in the world and the world within oneself. "Who's here?" is one of the first phrases a child learns. This phrase becomes a small engine of development and learning, which encourages us to learn more and more about the world every day.
The performance begins with an action on the ground, on a plane. With the help of various sounds and objects that are constantly being rediscovered, the world of the performance opens up and expands little by little for the little person, until extremely "serious" games begin: the objects of the performance - boxes - become "alive", unexpected, but easily recognizable characters, such as animals.
"When creating performances, I always think about how a small or young person sees the world, how he gets to know it. The question "Who is here?" becomes the essential key of the play. For the smallest viewers, it is not only important to learn, get to know and explore objects, it is also extremely important to encourage them to interpret objects - in this way, the imagination and creativity of the little viewer is developed. A simple box can turn into a safe place to hide and later become a puppy or other animal. The theater is an extremely suitable and safe space for a small person to discover the opportunity to freely learn to interpret," the play's director Agnė Sunklodaitė is convinced.
A ticket is required for both a child and an adult.
The performance takes place in the space of the V. and S. Ratkevičius Doll Museum. .
