Sometimes those principles turn into absurd comic situations and provoke dramatic conflicts. Especially - limited, blunt, pointless, out of place and not on time. And where people's relationship begins, well, you understand ... The right space for the amplitude of emotions comes from love to hatred, jealousy and nobleness, sincerity and pose, essence and detail. And, behold, comedy turns into a tragedy ...
"But in principle, everything will end well, light and with hope," says actress Kristina Kazlauskaitė about her latest work. "Principle" is its directorial attempt to move and combine two Russian classic Anton Chekhov's one -handed, "Bear" and "Matchmaking" to the big stage. "Maybe I put my nose where I wouldn't. I'm afraid, I'm shaking, but I interfere," K. Kazlauskaitė worries, preparing for the premiere.
The early creation of A. Čechov was not so often built in Lithuanian theaters, but it remains relevant, ironic, and recognizes human defects, empty ambitions and stupid principles with reality. "Do you think life has changed? And our principles? So everything is the same! Systems, technology changes, but man loves and hates, laughs and cries just as well. Theater makes us look more sharp, ironic and some people's character qualities highlight," K. Kazlauskaitė shares.
