"King Lyre" is a tragedy of late Shakespeare's work, which tells the legendary British kings, who, after entrusted with the beauty of his eldest daughters, divided the kingdom, and the youngest and favorite Cordelia, restrained, left his feelings without being struck. Unfortunately, the king realizes too late that he had given his wealth and power to his daughters, who were not deserved his kindness.
The creators of the performance delve into the personality of the protagonist, King Lyro, his (un) ability to love and hear their closest people - daughters. With the help of a puppet theater, the creative team aims to reveal the complex and phantasmagoric world of King Lyro, where in a dream or crooked mirror kingdom, a relationship that is just a relationship that leads to even greater alienation and betrayal. Can this crazy dream still have room for sincerity and love? How often do we find each of us consciously or without realizing it in the place of King Lyre?
The play based on the play of objects and shapes and the body plasticity of the actors will tell about the painful states of loneliness and exclusion that the aging King Lyre experiences. The ruler, who in the past concentrated on himself, was unable to sincerely love and convey true values ​​to his daughters.
460 years after Shakespeare created this tragedy (1605-1606), the topics exploring the "King Lyr" remain particularly relevant and encouraging today to raise the fundamental questions and seek answers that respond to the challenges of the modern world and the problems of our society.
