Laughter and catharsis (tears) for one price

At first glance, Anat Gov's play seems quite a simple comedy that surprises the first pages of his situation fantastic - God demands the help of children (!) Psychotherapist Ela, otherwise something irreparable (as it turns out - "Improved Flood", "Forks for all, even elect"). Ela has the only session to save the world, part of which was "eaten" by Elos's disbelief that the client is God.
Most of the play we observe a glowing and funny standup on well -known biblical topics with perfectly constructed dialogues and jokes. The basic purpose of the comedy is to surprise and laugh.
However, the usual of the comedy (unexpectedly, like a lightning cross) opens the second layer of the play. When it comes to actors who, as usual, are the least psychologically vulnerable (Ela psychotherapist and God is almighty), drama.
The playwright set out an extremely difficult, risky task and laughed at the viewer, and evoke catharsis in one performance (remind you that catharsis, a tragedy element, is far from comedy). So, paradoxically, the Anat Gov comedy also squeezes tears.
And another paradox - the Israeli playwright did not enter into a manner - sold two at the price of one. Use - necessary!

I am delighted that this story has been in the hands of director Gabriele Tuminaitė, I believe that the performance will not only make the audience smiling, but will also invite you to think about today.
