Who wouldn't want to know all the other half's secrets? What if the Court ordered the disclosure of those secrets?
The Court is a crazy one-act comedy about marriage, the illusions of a long-term relationship, the truth and the revealing...new underwear.
Suspicious Wife (Ineta Stasiulytė) invites her Husband (Kęstutis Cicėnas) to eat cottage cheese pie, but instead of lunch they go straight to the Courthouse, where they are met by the Judge (Larisa Kalpokaitė).
The search for the truth turns into an absurd battle, the most intimate secrets of the house and a pile of accusations. Is it a crime to keep secrets? Who screws cucumbers too hard at home? Is the hole in the underwear proof? True feelings, longing for love and deception are hidden under exaggerated emotions and unfounded accusations. The Court will solve them all!
The court is a comedy full of real, sincere humanity about couples not communicating, male logic, female intuition and the desire to be "right" at any cost. But is true love hidden in the truth?
The show invites the audience into a hilarious courtroom where no one is guilty - and everyone is still guilty because they want to be loved.
The director is Justinas Krisiūnas, known for works loved by the audience in cinema and theater.
