A meeting with a force that draws you in and from which it becomes very difficult to break away, sometimes it seems impossible. Sometimes that darkness overwhelms you so much that it turns into a desire to simply not exist. But if you dare to look at it, it can become recognizable. Then the contours of specific feelings and emotions appear in it, which can already be named, accepted, released or allowed to be. It is possible that the darkness will not disappear anywhere, but you can always look for someone who will help you be with it, who will help you survive, who will lead you forward, who will be the counterweight of the light. Even your own body. Your own wonderful, dancing body. After all, the desire to live is determined by the desire to act. "With the play of light, darkness, dance, words and music, we are creating a story about approaching, meeting the Other - someone who is difficult to grasp, but always very close," shares Dovilė Binkauskaitė. "To look inside yourself is to see all the contents of your heart... Both light and darkness." Each of us has our own shadow - it is our fear, jealousy, mistrust, anger, disappointment, lack of meaning, doubts. According to C. G. Jung, the shadow contains that part of us that we do not recognize as our own, with which we do not identify and which we do not develop, we push away from ourselves, thereby growing it even more. But the shadow is also a part of us. It is important to stop, recognize, acknowledge and learn to be true to the found Self. It's not easy, but it's the first step to liberation," notes Gintarė Radvilavičiūtė.
