Henry Ibsen's Drama Little Ejolf is a three -action play about the Almers' family whose life is shocking. Alfred and Rita Almers are raising a son Ejolf, a boy with a disability, which his father is determined to turn his life in the center of his life by giving up the writer's career. However, there is a disaster soon - Ejolf drowns the fjord, leaving his parents with a sense of guilt, despair and emptiness. The play reveals the relationship between Alfred, Rita and cousin Asta, their secret passions and grief. Ejolf's loss becomes a fateful test: parents are distracted by the accusations of each other and themselves, looking for the meaning of life, and eventually determined to move their love to other abandoned, disadvantaged children. It is a drama about guilt, responsibility, the fragility of love and the search for meaning after the painful loss.
