"America in the bathhouse" is the first one-act play performed in Lithuanian in Lithuanian based on the play of the same name by Keturakis, which after almost 125 years has turned into a modern musical comedy and is presented today to the viewer!

The comedy wittily presents the development of Lithuanian identity and the deep spirit of patriotism, the origins of which are often hidden in the truest province. The author of scenography, Renata Valčik, skillfully creates the atmosphere of such a province in the play - used car tires stand for furniture, and swans, ingeniously twisted and painted in bright colors, are the truest evidence of the province's artistic tastelessness. Painfully recognizable signs of the modern Lithuanian countryside will make you not only smile, but also cry with your whole stomach.

This comedy is accompanied by music performed by live actors, expertly performed vocal parts, bright costumes and make-up, many humorous improvisation, youthful exuberance, lightness, games and freedom.

However, the main idea remains the same, as in the days of Keturakis - it is always better where we are not!
