Premiere - 2015 February 28 "The Extraordinary Journey of Edward Tulane" is a very vivid, evocative and sensitive story about a porcelain rabbit who learns to love. Edward Tulein is a cocky rabbit who cares about no one but himself. One day Edward gets lost. Lying in the depths of the ocean, dancing in the street, meeting the strangest people, the rabbit realizes that his heart is made to love. Looking for a way home, he travels from hand to hand, learns to appreciate friendship, begins to understand what love, attachment, and longing are. "Open your heart - and someone will come. Someone will definitely come to you" - this is the main idea of the performance. "Each love is a path. Today, I think, it is very relevant. To think not about why I am not loved, but what I love and how I love. What did I do to make the person I love feel happier. After all, love is giving, sharing without expecting a response. I think this story should be interesting for the whole family," he notes. the director of the performance is Gintarė Radvilavičiūtė. In the Klaipėda Puppet Theater, this wonderful story is told without words using old toys brought by children who have already lived their lives, but were resurrected for this performance. The creators of the show encourage the audience to look at the toy with different eyes, develop children's imagination and creativity, show that puppet theater can be unpredictable, associative, interesting, and can be created at home.
