The performance is based on B. Sruoga's novel "The Forest of the Gods", revealing Štuthof (Poland) during the Second World War experiences in the concentration camp.

Without departing from the original text and maintaining the ironic tone of the story (the production uses the stand-up comedy genre), the play depicts the relationship between guards and prisoners, the hierarchy of the camp, debilitating work, a miserable household and crushing human dignity punishments.

Agnė Sunklodaitė, the author and director of the play, based on her successful creative experience and the genre possibilities of puppet and object theater, explores essential questions about human nature in the production: what is humanity? Where is the line between humanity and dehumanization? Are we still able to understand the horrors of the holocaust and remain vigilant so that similar things do not happen again?

In the opinion of the creators of the play, today B. Sruoga's "Forest of the Gods" is more relevant than ever. People tend to forget the great lessons of history. Compassion and tolerance are declared, but right here it is possible to be horrified by "different" people, as if in the subconscious there is a desire for a perfect race, a society of healthy and stereotypically "correct" people. What can we do to prevent a repeat of the horrors of World War II or Siberian exile? Maybe turn on yourself? After all, all the crimes of humanity are initially born in the consciousness of one or another individual. What determines this?

2022 the performance "Forest of the Gods" won the highest theater award in Lithuania - "Golden Stage Cross" in the category "Object and Puppet Theater Performance".
