Verses of one of the most popular and beloved poets, essayist and prose writer Donald Kajok (b. 1953) were turned into prayers, hymns, songs and speeches in the Klaipėda Castle Theater play "The Great Lament at the Burning Grapes".

According to theatrologist Jūratė Grigaitienė, "All these segments in this poetry performance are equal partners. Four actors not only read poetry on stage, but also sing and play several musical instruments. When the famous drama actress Regina Šaltenytė reads D. Kajoko's lines, sometimes you forget to breathe, every word sounds like the beat of a powerful bell, echoing something very close to your soul that even shivers start to run through your body.
