This is a magical and bright ballet performance for children of one of the most beautiful works by Hans Christian Andersen based on the fairy tale "Mermaid". "Mermaid" is a play about a young, energetic and full of desires, a fragile creature trapped between humans and the ocean world, who, guided by her dreams, longs to experience a real life on land. Unfortunately, the rules of her world do not allow a water elemental and an ordinary person to meet. But regardless, Little Mermaid makes a deal with an evil sea witch in exchange for a chance to experience life on land. It seeks to prove that love conquers everything and can make the world go round.

This is a play about moving towards a goal and achieving your idea through actions, even if they are not so easy. This is a story that will try to show that every dream and every goal can be achieved only thanks to love.

The Klaipėda Ballet School together with the famous choreographer and director Aušra Krasauskaite invites everyone, big and small ones, to the deepest bottom of the ocean and experience one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beautiful fairy tales "The Little Mermaid", special music was created by Kristijonas Lučinskas, costumes by Aina Zinčiukaitė, and scenography by Aistė Alksnytė and Regina Donbrauskaitė. Klaipėda Ballet School students and guest soloists dance in the performance.
