Willy Russell for women and their men a two -part performance by Willy Russell's play "Shirlle Valentain"
Once upon a time, a self -contained woman, now Sirle Valentain, is a housewife, a so -called mid -age crisis. She spends most of her life between four walls, usually one: children are grown up and spilled, and the man spends almost all the time at work. Sirle Valentainin lives with memories of what it was, and is stuck in a daily routine, household barns with her husband, and her best interlocutor is the kitchen wall. When a girlfriend, after winning the lottery, is about to go to Greece, Sirle takes the opportunity and goes together. During the trip, she begins to see herself and the surrounding world with other eyes, so she decides to change her life.
The performance "For Women and their Men" is based on the play "Širlė Valentain" (1986) by famous English playwright Willy Rusell. The works of this author are built in the most important scenes of the world, are screened and won various awards.
The mono -performance for "Women and their Men" is the story of a woman's life and self -discovery. According to the performance director and actress Ligita Kondrotaitė, "The situation in the performance is often recognized by a woman. We are more often denying: it will not happen to us.
