She - Gintarė Ramoškaitė-Jokubauskė"Migla" is a dream-like psychedelic drama in which reality merges with the world of memories, fantasy and magic. The play tells the story of a young woman named Emma. Many years later, Emma returns to visit her childhood home, where she remembers herself as happy and believing in tomorrow. But a family she doesn't know has been living here for some time. Emma kindly meets her and is invited inside. This is how she ends up in her childhood room...Try to imagine that you live in a cozy house with your beloved family and one day a stranger appears in the doorway of the apartment, who, among other things, mentions that this is her former childhood home. You kindly invite an unexpected guest in, and she decides not to leave here. How do you behave? And now imagine that late in the autumn evening, experiencing deep loneliness, you find yourself near your childhood home completely by accident, you raise your head to the shining window of your childhood room, and you don't even feel that you are already standing at the door of your former home... You need so little - just a short conversation with another person, a quiet meeting with your childhood memories, with the time when faith was still alive. Faith in the world, in people, in your undoubtedly bright future. But that house is no longer yours, and the people living in it do not want you at all... How should you act? The creators of the show invite the audience to see the same story twice from different angles. Could it be that every story has two, three, maybe even a thousand or a million views? It turns out that, at least in cases where the story is shrouded in fog, it really can be. In the fog, conflicts and dialogues become increasingly ephemeral, and the boundaries between the characters and the world around them blur. It is as if the audience is invited into the universe of the collective unconscious, a place where there is no "I" or "you", only an eternal fabric of consciousness that exists beyond any personal boundaries. It is a place, or maybe a state, where words lose their meaning, there is only silence, the link between being and non-being, and the only constant thing is "nothingness", which gives freedom and eternity. Is it possible to go back to your past? Is it possible for past and present to collide without destroying each other? Attempts to find answers to these questions inspired A. Špilevoj, the creator of the performances "Bagadelnia" and "Pakeliui" to immerse himself in "Migla", where seeing the world is much more difficult than feeling it. Premiere: 2024 November 15, 16
