At the center of the narrative is a young guy named Travolta, which in the village is closed by his way and strange habits, many consider it simply to "hit". Among other oddities, Travolta has an incomprehensible, dangerous, and seems to be completely meaningless "hobby" - to jump in front of a car in front of the village unexpectedly. One day, this look up to the absurdity of a stupid activity attracts the attention of journalists and the events turn in a very unexpected direction ...
Travolta, like all other characters, seems to be humbly reconciled with his destiny, but in reality he carries a huge family secret, which, when revealed, becomes obvious that under the rough surface of the play, the shocking tragedy of love, guilt and its redemption hides. Travolta is like Latvian Forest Gamp, which, even in the most unfavorable circumstances, tries to find a way out.
In the performance, the first violin plays a psychologically accurate acting actor, marked with a gentle spice of irony. Every character of the play feels embedded in the circumstances that they think do not allow them to escape, to fulfill their dreams. As a result, each of them feels unhappy. But do they really want to and try to change their lives?
The author of the play A. Dicis says he wanted to remind this play a very simple, but unfortunately often forgotten truth that life is not something abstract - "every lovely second it takes place in us and we are the true creators of our life. There is no place like" nowhere ".
Director Toms Trein: "When I build this performance, I think about the reasons for human unfulfillment and reconciliation with destiny.
