Virgilius Veršulis's play "Outside the Door", which is full of tragicomic elements, written more than a decade ago, lends itself to various interpretations, but it raises questions that never lose their relevance - why in the long run human connection becomes hurtful, why we hurt those we love the most, how to accept and understand the other - young and old, sinful and penitent This principle of duality can also be seen in the scene, which is divided into two parts - one is on this side, the other - on the other side of the door, which means that the viewer, as in a good picture, has the opportunity to simultaneously observe the characters embodied by two great actors, Juoz Bindok and Inga Jarkova - Bučienė, in different ways of acting. The sometimes realistic, sometimes absurd plot of the play is exciting and convincing precisely thanks to their acting power and persuasiveness.
