NEW VERSION OF THE LEGENDARY COMEDY!

Comedy "Caveman" first staged on Broadway in 1996, it became the longest-running one-man show in the history of Broadway. Since then, the hugely popular piece has spread around the world and has been presented in more than 30 countries. The play was shown in Lithuania for the first time in 2005. It was shown over 1000 times in different cities of our country! The main and only character was played by the actors Dainius Kazlauskas, Kostas Smoriginas, Darius Meškauskas, Vaidotas Martinaitis and Giedrius Savickas.

The role of the "Cave Man" will be played by the actor Paulius Valaskevičius in the completely new production of the play, well known to the audience from his roles in the "Domino" theater performances "Men according to the advertisement", "Something is not right here",  in television projects "Bicycle News", "Women Lie Better", "Serious Matters", "Monica Needs Love", "All Men Are Pigs". The show is directed by Dainius Kazlauskas, who created the comedies loved by the audience and popular "Men according to advertisement", "Pianists", "Boeing Boeing", "Psychics" or "Tobuli melagii".

Comedy "Caveman" examines a topic that will probably never go out of fashion - the relationship between men and women and their dynamics. The show reveals witty gender differences in life situations in which both men and women will recognize themselves. Have you ever wondered , why can't men multitask and women are so upset about the bathroom mirror getting splashed again? In the comedy "Caveman", celebrating its 20th anniversary on the Lithuanian stage, we will explore an inexhaustible topic - men, women and their relationships. We will try to understand the differences and similarities between the sexes and laugh at life situations in which we will recognize ourselves. We will learn that, although the world is changing, we are still solving the same questions from the time of the "caveman".

"The themes of the play are timeless, at least as long as as long as man and woman exist, their relationship and the differences between the sexes. Each production of "Caveman" is based on today's current events, so the performance is constantly evolving. If you saw the play five or ten years ago, now you will see completely different situations", director Dainius Kazlauskas is convinced.
