Thin Skinelish Brtnická and Coll. (Czech Republic) 60 min | The 8+ trapezoidal artist Elish Brtnická in her artistic research in the modern circus area, asking questions about what is trapezoidal, what forms she can have, how it reflects the movement of the body and what this movement conveys to the viewer. Her work is characterized by strong visual elements, so the new project is presented in a gallery space. The Thin Skin, to which Eliška invited colleagues Aljběta Ticha and Filip Zahradnický, focuses on the trapezoid as kinetic and action sculpture. The trapezoid was deconstructed, its parameters changed drastically and the main character became a long thin iron rod. We are fascinated by the behavior of the material, the movement of the suspended rod is almost hypnotized. Certain movements can irreversibly affect the shape of the trapezoid and create new conditions of instability. We adapt to the fragility and vulnerability that can only be felt through thin skin. Thin Skin is a meditative work of motion installation. The world as a graphic model, a landscape of lines. Metal bars in space intertwine with performers' bodies, which are sensitive to the physical answers of the material - their partner. Moving sculptures appear and disappear. Their archetypal skeletons can be covered with values ​​or simply left to flow. The body is pressed in the material, the image in the head, the time bending. This "intuitive physics" demonstrates the basic principles of the Earth's gravitational field.
