How a Spiral Worksart for Rainy Days (Latvia) 50 min | The 6+ Art for Rainy Days performance "How a Spiral Works" is a unique, meditative, hypnotic performance that blends contemporary dance and acrobatic rope with contemporary white folk music and minimal aesthetics. It provokes the audience to think about slowness and challenge the idea of the circus as a spectacle. Art for Rainy Days is an artistic team consisting of circus artist Isabelle Kuzelytė, dancer Alice Bokaldere and playwright Jason Duperee. When combining perception, the goal is simple: to inspire each other's artistic approach. Art for Rainy Days is a slow breakfast, a notebook, a dream. Artwork, inspired by tasks and projects performed on unproductive days, relax, breathe and find time for yourself. Created: Art for Rainy Daysmenists on stage: Alice Bokaldere (LV), Isabelle Kuzelytė (LT) playwright: Jason Duperee (UK) Composer and Music producer: Adam Dupeekuric scenography engineer: Jacob Jakobsonplaud Acrobatics Mentor: Ingrid Eksason. Petit Circque du Monde, Visaginas KC, Circus Sapiens, Arts Printing House, Theater, Rīgas Circs, Sansusī, Epicirq Project are funded by: Lithuanian Cultural Council at the Latvian Dance Awards "How a Spiral Works" was recognized as the best 2023-2024. The season of the season in the contemporary genre, and Alice Bokaldere has won the title of the best contemporary dance dancer.
