The performances of the Sheik Dance Theater are unexpected, multi-layered stage stories in which contemporary dance, music, and visual arts are interwoven. In the shows TRAVELING CHURCH, OVERWHELMED, INDIGO. The DAS SCHLIEMANN PROJECT theater highlighted the possibilities of dance to transfer relevant questions of history and identity to the contemporary stage. The new work ONO" continues the line of dance archaeology. This time, the creators turn to the world of Lithuanian manors, the everyday lives and fates of the women who lived there. Choreographers Agnija Šeiko and Lina Puodžiukaitė-Lanauskienė, together with the creative team, examine how omissions, losses and interpretations of stories shaped our post-colonial identity and erased the sense of belonging to the community. In the performance, ONOS's body becomes architecture - movement connects space, its elements and the inner world of a person. ONOS - as a common denominator - tries to collect scattered fragments of lost history and bring back the voice of those who lived and will live.
