Almost all of us are familiar with the stories of Prometheus in Greek mythology, who disobeyed the gods of Olympus and gave fire to mortals. And if you had to be Prometheus yourself, would you dare? What would your Promethean story be?
Three actors present their own interpretation of the myth to the audience, sharing Promethean stories about hopes and fears, admiration and shame, learning from mistakes and repeating mistakes. Traveling through different historical periods, the creators are looking for human Prometheus.
Maybe it is those who, even knowing that they will be punished if they disobey the existing order, decide to light the flame just for the sake of the opportunity for others to warm themselves? This theater work is dedicated to those human Prometheans.
