The word "furioso" means "furious" in Spanish, says choreographer and co-director Alexis Gonzalez, but the word is not necessarily negative. Fury can also be a creative force, a storm that cleanses, brings in fresh air, dispels old emotions and prepares a place for new ones. Our performance "Tango Furioso" aims to convey this feeling - it is energetic, intense, full of life and passion, and every movement, every musical note is saturated with this powerful energy that we want to convey to the audience."
