"Summer wasps sting us even in November" is a story about how two men and one woman, not knowing what to do with their lives, how to fight absolute loneliness and meaninglessness, embark on a brave and tragicomic journey after a world of tangled relationships. They try to find a way out of a situation where normal communication methods no longer work. In order to free themselves from loneliness and self-deception, the play's heroes try to escape both from being and from themselves. The search for truth is gaining momentum leading to the absurd. And there is only rain, which is raining for the third day. There are only summer bees, which sting us even in November. Here, as always in I.Vyrypaev's plays, it is very exciting funny, a little sad, a little cruel and, finally, a little about the meaning of life.
