In art, we hardly have a serious analysis, a serious approach to what is happening now with Lithuania, with the nation. Behind this lies not only the interests of nations, the state - behind this lie the broken destinies of people, entire odysseys - will those people return or not... They leave their country, their homes, their families. Emigration is different. Today, emigration is different, but there was a time when people went abroad with a one-way ticket, not knowing the language, having nothing, often being cheated... We see such a situation in "Išvary".
What is emigration? What is behind this word? There are many things behind it, one of the most important of which is the loss of identity. Or maybe a discovery in another country? After all, the issue of individual identity is one of the most relevant nowadays. "Expulsion" reveals many possibilities and solutions to this question. Essentially, emigration is a horizontal spiritual journey "to happiness", which often turns into a vertical journey down, to disaster."
