in 2026 December 20 - 20 years after the premiere of the legendary production - the last performance of the opera Boheme will take place. The main roles will be performed by the most famous Lithuanian soloists.
in 2006 The premiere of G. Puccini's Bohemia (dir. Gintaras Rinkevičius, director Dalia Ibelhauptaitė, scenographer Dirk Bird and costume designer Juozas Statkevičius) shown at the Palace of Congresses was a great success, the creators, officially called Vilnius City Opera, even began to be called by the name of bohemians. Bohema was then shown more than 40 times with great success! This production of G. Puccini's opera became a unique performance, a peculiar phenomenon, a legend in the history of Lithuanian opera. After 15 years, the ideas and aesthetics of the production are still impressive and inspiring, so LNOBT together with bohemian creators decided to revive the performance on our stage. The first premiere performances took place in the summer of 2021 at the LNOBT Open festival in the courtyard of the House of Lords, and now we invite you to the bohemian Bohemia, revived on the stage of our theater.
